My father was transfered to Oklahoma City in the summer of 1965. I graduated from Putnam City High School, but always considered Rogers my true alma mater. I am pleased to learn of a class reunion and sad I am too late to rekindle memories with some of our classmates who have died.

I graduated from Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma with a BS in Pol Sci after figuing out I was not willing to study hard enough to get into medical school. I moved back to Tulsa and spent 13 years in the finance business, primarily automotive finance. At the age of 33 I found my true calling as a Tulsa police officer, where I am still employed.

At the age of 41 I married for the first time and became a father at the age of 43. My life could not be any better. My wife and I are best friends and we have two sons, ages 15 and 12. My children have better sense than I did at their age and are better students. (They go to Edison and I hope that can be forgiven by a bunch of old Ropers). My boys and I are active in Boy Scouts and enjoy each others company.

I look forward to visiting with many of you at the reunion. My phone at home is 743-9013, work 596-1109 and email at .
